The Mosque & The Guest Home

The mausoleum is not the only building on the grounds of the Taj Mahal. There is also a mosque and a building that was designed to be a guest home.

First, let's take a look at the mosque. If you are standing in front of the Taj Mahal, the mosque will be on your left.

This is the inside of the mosque:

This is the guesthouse. It is located to the right of the Taj Mahal. It is identical to the mosque. This represents the obsession with symmetry that Shah Jahan had.
